Retail Jail
I grew up in a single parent home, as a Missionary Kid. I have worked in retail my entire life. In Restaurants, Big Box stores and in Automobile Dealers. Although I’ve always been able to provide my family with a lifestyle that I never had, it came with a high price… Time.
The demands of a career in retail are among the greatest of any industry, especially evenings, weekends and holidays. The unfortunate recipients of those demands, are loved ones – my family. Between not knowing what time I can leave the office, to only being able to plan trips twice per year, it costs my family the one thing they want from me the most – my time.
One of the hardest lessons I had to learn after becoming a parent: Children only spell love one way: T-I-M-E. No matter how lavish their life can be, the time they spend with their parents is what they remember most of all. Once I took that seriously, I knew I had to act. There’s absolutely no way I was going to let my son grow up the same way I did.
On top of economic fluctuations, industry waves and the constant fear of being replaced, I knew I had to find a way to get out from under it all. I knew if I could start by supplementing my income, creating a little breathing room, while learning how to replace my income altogether, I knew I could eventually free myself from the retail grind I had become accustomed to.
I started looking for a way out and any opportunity that was wrapped in shiny, to-good-to-be-true wrapper, had my interest. My social media feed started filling up with the things I liked, ways to make money from home, side hustles and the like. I knew these people weren’t experts because they came from all walks of life – there wasn’t a pattern to the success they were having outside of effort. They were finding a way to put in the time and I wasn’t.
I knew if I found the right opportunity – not a scheme or money-grab – I could achieve the same thing they had. I also knew I didn’t want to do it alone. No matter how little or how much experience I had, I knew I could accomplish my goal even faster if I had a team around me to support me when I got stuck.

Why do I want to help? I’ll tell you…
I know what it means to feel stuck in a never-ending grind. I know what it means to tell your family that you’re doing the best you can and I know what it feels like thinking that the ‘somedays’ won’t ever happen.
I know what it means to be the problem solver and I know what it means to take responsibility for you and your family’s future. I do not take that burden lightly and I know there are people in the same place that I was, convinced that this is all life has to offer and to just ‘accept it’.
I want to help those people looking for a way out – looking for a positive outlook for their future. I want to help those people that KNOW they can do the work, but they just don’t know where to start. I want to help YOU find a better life, to help you… Free Yourself!
FREE YOURSELF with PURPOSE
My goal is to help you find the answers you’ve been searching for – to help you find a way out. I want you to realize that the digital space is not only for the tech savvy. It’s not only for the younger generation, or the one’s who grew up with a computer in their bedroom. It’s for everyone. We can all participate in this monumental shift of wealth and we can do it at our own pace.
I’m now learning how to get back some of those months and even years, generating passive income, whether I’m at work or asleep. So I’m here to share the insights, methods and resources I was able to use, to leverage my time back, with everyone.
